I know I'm always supposed to say that there were SO many smiles on the course and everyone was happy to be running in the rain - but this time I MEAN it! It was cold and rainy pretty much the entire morning of the Fred Lebow Half Marathon, but just look at these photos. These runners were happy to be there!
Maybe it's because we're 3 for 3 in 2019 for rainy NYRR race days, and everyone has finally accepted the fact that wet is the new normal. Whatever the reason - I was glad to be surrounded by such positivity on a nasty Sunday morning!
